Interactive Sales Document
Challenge: PitchBook’s sales force are always looking for innovations to help showcase the company’s cutting-edge software. We were tasked with creating an interactive sales tool that allowed the user to take a guided tour through the software without the need for a sales person talking them through it in real time. It needed to reflect the innovative nature of PitchBook and have potential customers eager to find out more.
Solution: We decided early on that including animated walkthroughs of the software’s various functions would give the best insight into how the user could benefit from a subscription. By combining illustrative elements and areas for the user to interact and play with the document we aimed to increase engagement and bring in more leads.
A key consideration when designing the document was the user journey. We wanted potential customers to be able to click straight through to the Pitchbook website where they could request a free trial, or email a salesperson directly from the document’s ‘Contact’ page. By reducing the number of steps the user would have to take to request a trial we looked to capitalise on the enthusiasm gained from having just been immersed in a tour of the software.
